I have a land line, and I live in Ohio. Generally, all calls I get seem to be political or for clothes.
Phone rang, didn't recognize area code, so I didn't answer. Checked my email later and got a message about a job and a discussion that never took place. Noticed that I had a voice mail message and that the email was from the person that left the voice mail.
Just as well I didn't answer, dude spoke broken English for a temp position. Nothing against Indians, but I don't care to speak with people with thick accents which sound like mumbles underwater. I have spoken with Indians who worked for Cincinnati Bell and Belkin that spoke much clearer. Dude from Belkin was very helpful, while the dude from Cincy Bell wasn't. Were they in India? Not sure, I called 1-800 numbers and they were customer service reps. Anyways, this dude called me.
Don't know much about this recruiter for a temp agency based out of Chicago, but he shouldn't be allowed to call people. What kind of company uses a recruiter that can't be understood on the phone?
